According to Paul Bouwer, sales director of SArepco, Mark Andy’s local representative, any pressroom will benefit from a DPV upgrade because it’s a highly dependable and inexpensive low-risk solution that offers high returns. ‘Total cost of production is almost 90% less than standard cartridge-based offerings in the market,’ he states. ‘The system utilises the latest 30 or 40kHz print module for high-speed data transfer, and high-quality inkjet printheads that deliver 600dpi cross-web print resolution and 300 to 600dpi in the process direction at speeds of up to 152m/min.’
Additionally, the monochrome digital printbar offers adjustable drop size and shaving to ensure premier barcode readability on labels, pharmaceutical packaging, forms, direct mail, tickets, promotions or tags.
Paul describes other beneficial features as internal heaters that minimise the impact of external temperature changes and an integrated head cap and automated service mode, which reduces printhead maintenance and increases pressroom efficiency.
