Under the banner ‘All-in-One Sustainable Bottle Solutions’, the company will present four cutting-edge machines, each demonstrating live moulding of bottles that push the boundaries of efficiency, sustainability and design. Three of these machines will make their global debuts at the trade fair.

The PF36/36-600, featuring ASB’s 1.5-Step moulding process, merges 1-Step and 2-Step technologies to deliver 500ml water bottles at 18 000 units/hour using 100% recycled PET. With 36 injection cavities and 12 blow cavities, the machine achieves a 3:1 blow-to-injection ratio, enabling shorter cycles, reduced energy consumption and up to 20% lower operating costs compared with conventional 2-Step systems. Its hybrid actuation system – hydraulics, pneumatics and servo motors – combined with the Vision1™ control system, ensures precision, connectivity and remote monitoring capabilities.

The PM-90/111N makes its global debut as a compact preform moulding solution. Its vertical clamp design supports 12-36 cavities, depending on preform size, and integrates advanced cooling for stable, fully cooled output. Designed for 10g preforms for 500ml water bottles, it operates with 100% rPET while delivering 30% less floor space, 40% lower investment cost and 20% lower energy use per preform than comparable systems.

For HDPE bottle production, the ASB-70DPH/50E introduces a hybrid-electric system, with servo-driven injection and stretch operations complemented by hydraulic clamping where required. The machine reduces energy consumption by 25% while shortening cycle times and increasing precision. It demonstrates moulding of 500ml oval ‘trigger’ bottles for household cleansers with enhanced front-face mould design, allowing an increase from five to seven cavities per mould – a 40% productivity boost.

Highlighting sustainable refillable solutions, the HSB12-4N/111N is the world’s first 1.5-Step double blow heat-set machine capable of producing 2L returnable and refillable PET bottles. These bottles weigh just 90g – 7.5% lighter than the industry standard – and incorporate up to 30% rPET. Engineered for more than 25 refill cycles, they provide significant environmental benefits, consuming only 8-10% of PET material compared with equivalent volumes of single-use bottles, while maintaining thermal stability and resistance to stress cracking.

Attendees will also see a complete ecosystem of ancillary equipment, including chillers, resin dryers, mould temperature controllers, dehumidifiers and conveyor systems. Additional innovations on display include through-hole handle moulding, Zero Cooling technology, lightweight collapsible water servers, canted-neck bottles, HDPE bottles produced by ISBM and thick-wall cosmetic and base bottles.

With these demonstrations, Nissei ASB not only showcases its commitment to environmentally responsible, efficient and revolutionary bottle production, but also highlights the integration of advanced moulding technologies with high-performance machine designs. By combining lightweight designs, recycled materials and energy-efficient processes, Nissei ASB offers bottle manufacturers a compelling pathway towards reducing costs, boosting productivity and supporting circular economy goals.

At K 2025, Nissei ASB’s live demonstrations promise a hands-on view of how ISBM solutions are transforming the global PET and HDPE packaging landscape, blending precision, performance and sustainability into a single production line.
