Behind every label: a brand, a team, a vision

Months of strategic planning, countless online meetings across multiple time zones and the shipment of advanced machinery across continents culminated in ROTOCON’s debut as an independent exhibitor at Labelexpo Europe 2025, held at Fira de Barcelona.

Step by step, an empty exhibition space evolved into a modern, fully functional showcase of engineering and design. By 15 September, the structure was complete – a testament to project coordination, precision and shared commitment.

On 16 September, Labelexpo Europe 2025 welcomed the world, and ROTOCON stood proudly as a unified brand representing reliability, capability and innovation.

ROTOCON’s participation went far beyond equipment display – it presented an ecosystem of partnership, quality and performance. Each press, finishing system and live demonstration reinforced the strength of collaboration and the importance of technical integration in modern label production.

Live demonstrations incorporated premium materials and consumables from leading partners – Polyflex, Flint Group and Wink – highlighting the synergy between press performance and consumable excellence. Together, these partnerships demonstrated precision printing, colour accuracy and finishing excellence that define premium label production.

Each printed roll stood as a symbol of engineering and craftsmanship working together, reinforcing ROTOCON’s position among the world’s foremost suppliers to the narrow-web and label printing sector.

The technical backbone

Each machine on the stand was supported by members of ROTOCON’s expert technical team, trained in installation, optimisation and technical support. Their presence emphasised one of the company’s core strengths: delivering superior after-sales service and customer care.

ROTOCON’s technicians ensure every system maintains peak performance throughout its life cycle. This depth of technical capability and partnership approach remains central to the company’s long-term reputation for reliability and value.

Technology driving the industry

Precision engineering lies at the core of modern label production. ROTOCON’s role is to provide converters with technologies that ensure efficiency, consistency and global competitiveness.

From the registration accuracy of the CHROME RFP 450 flexographic press to the tactile quality of hot-foil embellishment and streamlined workflow automation, ROTOCON’s systems enable converters to achieve shorter lead times, reduced waste and superior print consistency.

Global showroom for ROTOCON

Continuous demonstrations of the CHROME RFP 450 allowed visitors to experience the combination of German engineering precision and robust build reliability in real time.

On 17 September, ROTOCON hosted a well-attended press conference highlighting its latest printing and finishing developments. The session included a live demonstration of the CHROME RFP 450 flexo printing press, featuring a welcome address by Michael Aengenvoort, a technical presentation by Sachin Sukhlal and an ECG ink demonstration by Stuart Baylis from Polyflex.

Strong regional and international attendance made the ROTOCON stand a hub of collaboration and engagement, reflecting the shared progress of converters worldwide and particularly the rapid advancement of the African label industry in alignment with global standards.

Network of innovation

Beyond its own stand, ROTOCON’s network of approved principals and technology partners extended across multiple halls, collectively representing the full production chain – from inspection and curing to finishing and consumables. This comprehensive presence allowed the company to present complete, integrated solutions to its customers.

At EyeC’s stand (5/B11), ROTOCON’s ECOLINE RSH 440 finishing machine featured EyeC’s new AI-driven ProofRunner Web Evo technology, revealing the seamless compatibility between ROTOCON machinery and EyeC’s advanced inspection systems.

This collaborative network underscored ROTOCON’s strength as a full-service partner, connecting technologies and expertise across the narrow-web and label printing landscape.

Looking ahead

As the exhibition concluded on 19 September, ROTOCON’s team reflected on a week defined by meaningful engagement, commercial success and global brand visibility. With over 30 machines sold during the show, Labelexpo Europe 2025 reaffirmed ROTOCON’s expanding international footprint and its reputation as a trusted partner to converters worldwide.
Built on partnership, performance and precision, ROTOCON remains committed to continued innovation and growth ahead of LOUPE Europe 2027.
