During June this year, as part of its centenary celebrations, Siegwerk staged a successful INKday for customers and business partners (PPM Aug10, p76). Held at the company’s German headquarters, this two-day event attracted 300-plus participants from around the world who heard the latest news and innovations presented by experts from brand owners, packaging converters and ink manufacturers.
That Siegwerk’s actions are market-driven – or indeed, as the company claims, even drive the market – is proven by its many patents; with some 4 400 staff in more than 30 countries it’s able to supply and support customers anywhere in the world.
Now nearer to home, Siegwerk South Africa has celebrated the company’s 100th birthday with a ‘family day’ held at its premises in Germiston (Gauteng), especially staged to thank employees for their loyal service, trust and support.
