The 50, 80 and 110 models now run at belt speeds up to 350m/min, with backfolding capacity increased to 22 000 boxes/hour. An extended folding section (3 000mm) ensures controlled folding of larger formats and sensitive substrates, improving quality and reducing waste.
Smart automation features include the SPHERE machine interface, allowing operators to save and recall job settings digitally, while back-office job management streamlines setups and ensures consistent results across shifts. The line continues to support ACCUEJECT for automatic rejection of defective boxes and introduces a pneumatic feeder ramp for easier, faster adjustments.
‘These upgrades deliver a smarter, faster NOVAFOLD that meets real-world production demands,’ says Pierre Binggeli, head of product line folder-gluers. With global service support and BOBST Connect integration, the updated NOVAFOLD offers efficiency, quality and flexibility for modern converters.
